The lightweight and strong 6061 aluminium alloy frame is designed to keep the bike light and stable. Durable yet lightweight 24" double-walled aluminium rims wrapped with 28 spokes at the rear and 20 spokes at the front on reliable hubs with sealed bearings ensure that the wheels are built to last. The Gates Carbon Drive timing belt reliably transmits power in a 60/28 tooth ratio to the Shimano Nexus internal three-speed hub. The main advantages of the belt drive are low weight, maintenance-free, reliability and safety. The Grip Shift is easy to shift gears thanks to its integration directly into the handle and the adjustment of the grip size to fit children's hands. Small racers are reliably and safely stopped by a pair of independent mechanical V-brakes, which are controlled by levers whose reach can be easily adjusted for each child's hand.
