The Early Rider brand is among the absolute top in the category of children's bikes and mountain models for young riders. The Charger series brings real MTB technologies into the children's world, offering bikes that are lightweight, extremely durable, and ready for real trail riding.
The Early Rider Charger 16 children's bike is a premium 16" hardtail designed for children aged 4–6 who want to ride real trails and push their skills further. Thanks to its lightweight aluminum frame, suspension fork, and thoughtful geometry, it offers a high degree of control, comfort, and confidence on the terrain.
Frame and fork:
The basis of the bike is a sturdy aluminum frame, optimized for trail use. The front suspension is provided by the RST F1RST air fork with a travel of 60 mm, which significantly increases comfort, traction, and control when riding on uneven surfaces.
Trail geometry and handling:
The Charger 16 geometry is designed for stability on descents and confidence on climbs. Bolt Thru thru-axles increase the rigidity of the whole and ensure precise tracking. The bike is also gear ready, meaning it is prepared for future drivetrain and powertrain upgrades.
Simple and effective drivetrain:
The bike uses a single-speed chain drive with CRUX cranks, which is lightweight, reliable, and ideal for children focusing on riding technique.
Wheels, tires, and brakes:
Sealed wheel bearings, along with thru-axles, ensure smooth operation and long life. Kenda Booster 2.2" tires provide excellent grip on dirt, stones, and roots. Safe stopping is ensured by CRUX hydraulic disc brakes, which have a light action and high braking power.
Child ergonomics:
Reduced grip diameter and ergonomically designed controls ensure a comfortable grip even for small hands. Thanks to this, children have full control of the bike even in more demanding terrain.
