The Konfidence brand was founded in 1998, when the first Original Konfidence vest was launched. At that time, classic swim vests were too bulky for kids and traditional inflatable nylon gear just made kids scratch themselves while swimming. That's when the idea of creating a vest for kids out of classic neoprene that would hide 8 foam floats inside was born. The ability to adjust the buoyancy of the suit will allow the child to develop swimming technique and get used to the water. Gradually we can remove the use of buoyancy aids and the result is a confident and happy young swimmer. Confidence now offers a wide range of swimming aids for children and products for adults including UV protective clothing.
