LANGE

One of the most famous ski boot manufacturers. The spiritual father of the brand, Bob Lange, owner of a polyurethane products factory in Iowa, USA, started production in 1963. Due to the focus of his factory, Lange was the first to produce a ski boot with a plastic skeleton. Until then, all ski boots were leather.

At the 1968 Grenoble Olympics, nearly three-quarters of the starting field wore his boots. And the brand claimed its first five Olympic gold medals. More followed later, the last one won by Didier Defago two years ago in Vancouver.

But the brand is not only successful in the classic alpine racing disciplines, it also proves that it can make great boots for recreational skiers, women's and children's skiers. Children's ski boots

Children want to be like their big role models and heroes, which is why Lange offers children's boots in the same design as its top models in the RS range. The flex of these boots is of course lower, but otherwise the RSJ 60 and RSJ 50 models give little skiers enough potential to improve their skiing skills. Even in children's ski boots, the brand remembers skiers with wider feet with the RXJ model.
