The Oakley Mod1 Pro Youth children's ski helmet combines classic freestyle design with cutting-edge technologies. The Dura-Matter hard shell upper shell material is designed to increase all-around durability while maintaining the same low-profile design as the MOD1. The internal construction of the Skull Matrix helmet was created by combining MIPS and BOA technologies and the result is a simple and precise fit that reliably hugs the head. The insole is easily removable, sweat-wicking and washable. The safety magnetic buckle under the chin Fidlock makes it easy to fasten and unfasten, even with one hand in a glove. The Boa® wheel, which can also be operated with one hand or with a glove, is used for comfortable fine-tuning of the exact fit. Helmet meets ASTM F2040 and CE EN1077 safety certification for snowboarding and downhill skiing helmets.

The helmet is equipped with MIPS technology that reliably protects your brain from rotational forces caused by angled impacts. The thin MIPS friction layer is placed between the inner padded part and the upper EPS shell of the helmet by means of specially developed flexible grips.
