The repellent effect of Reima BugProof clothing is based on an extract from lemongrass, which contains geraniol. This extract is applied to the fabric in a durable finish that retains its effectiveness very well, even after more than 50 washes. It has a mild citrus scent that is pleasant to humans but repels mosquitoes, ticks, and other insects, so children can enjoy the outdoors without worry. Remember to protect exposed skin with repellent cream – the clothing only protects the skin underneath. Use repellents safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
